ReelRegs is built on public data from the governments of Canada and British Columbia, and on map services from others. Each one is credited on the map while its layer is showing.
Natural Resources Canada
Every lake and river on the map (National Hydro Network) and their names (Canadian Geographical Names).
Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – Canada.
Province of British Columbia
Wildlife management unit boundaries.
Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – British Columbia.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada
Salmon and tidal fishing rules, fishery management areas, subareas and closures.
Environment and Climate Change Canada
Radar and weather forecast layers (MSC GeoMet).
Data source: Environment and Climate Change Canada, under its Data Server End-use Licence.
Canadian Hydrographic Service
Depth shading (Pro), from the NONNA bathymetry. Not for navigation.
